What is Win Security?
Win Security is a German ad-supported program that you can download at winsecurity.net. We would not recommend doing that as it does not follow through on its promises. On its official website the application is described as a tool that will enhance your browsing experience and make it more secure. Win Security does not do any of those things. In fact, it exposes you to unnecessary risks that would not have been there if not for the app.
The program has been active since October 2013. All it does is present you with various advertisements. It is similar to other ad-supported programs like Adware.WinGuard, Adware.WebEnhance, Adware.SecurityUtility and so on. You should eliminate Win Security from your system as it is not beneficial in any way.
How does Win Security work?
Win Security starts flooding your browsers with various ads and pop-ups 12 hours after it gets installed. That is why some computer users may think that it is not responsible for the commercial content. The adverts you are presented with come from various third parties which means there is no way to be sure they are reliable. That is why we recommend you stay away from these ads if you do not want to infect your PC with malware, spyware or potentially unwanted applications. Moreover, the adware is also collecting information about your online browsing habits. You should not ignore this. The sooner you get rid of Win Security, the sooner you will be able to return to safe and uninterrupted Web browsing.
Win Security usually comes bundled with Amonetize. Along with the program you may also unwittingly install such adware applications as DolphinDeals, SurfSafely, OffersWizard, FabulousDiscounts, Remarkit and more. If you have any of these programs on your computer you should delete them as well. Next time you install freeware be sure to check all provided information and choose Advanced Installation. As for now, we recommend you terminate Win Security.
