  4. Move to General tab and change the Home Page URL.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Simultaneously tap Ctrl+Shift+A to open the Add-ons Manager.
  7. Choose Extensions and Remove the unwanted program.
  8. Restart browser.

Google Chrome

  1. Tap Alt+F simultaneously.
  2. Open menu and choose Tools
  3. Select Extensions and click the recycle bin next to the unwanted application.
  4. Click Remove.
  5. Go to the menu and select Settings.
  6. Choose Open a specific page or set of pages under On startup.
  7. Select Set pages and overwrite/remove the unwanted search provider.
  8. Move to Appearance and choose Show Home button.
  9. Click Change and Overwrite/delete the URL of the undesirable search provider.
  10. Click OK.
  11. Go to Search and click Manage search engines.
  12. Choose a new search tool.
  13. Click X on the URL of the unwanted search provider.
  14. Choose Done and restart.
