Step 1. Uninstall YourHotTab.net

d) Delete YourHotTab.net from Google Chrome
- Launch Google Chrome.
- Press on the three dots located in the top right-corner.
- Select More Tools and then Extensions.
- Find all suspicious extensions and press on the trash icon to delete them. If you are not sure which extensions are causing you problems, you can disable them temporarily by unchecking the Enabled box.
e) Change Google Chrome homepage
- Launch Google Chrome.
- Press on the three dots located in the top right-corner and choose Settings.
- Scroll down to On startup and press on Open a specific page or set of pages.
- Choose either Add a new page or Use current page to change your homepage.
- Still in Settings, scroll up to Search engine and press Manage search engines.
- Select the search engine you want to use.
f) Reset Google Chrome
- Launch Google Chrome.
- Press on the three dots located in the top right-corner and choose Settings.
- Scroll down to Advanced and press on that.
- Go down to the very bottom and press Reset.
- Read the warning and press Reset again.
g) Delete YourHotTab.net from Mozilla Firefox
- Launch Mozilla Firefox.
- Press on the three bars in the top right-corner.
- Select Add-ons and choose the Extensions tab.
- Find all suspicious extensions and delete them.
h) Change Mozilla Firefox homepage
- Launch Mozilla Firefox.
- Press on the three bars in the top right-corner and select Options.
- In General, delete the current URL of your homepage and type in the one you want to use.
i) Reset Mozilla Firefox
- Launch Mozilla Firefox.
- Press on the three bars in the top right-corner and choose Help.
- Choose Troubleshooting Information.
- Under Give Firefox a tune up, press on Refresh Firefox. In the box that appears, select Refresh Firefox again.
j) Delete YourHotTab.net from Microsoft Edge
Reset Microsoft Edge (Method 1)- Launch Microsoft Edge,
- Open the More menu by pressing on the three dots at the top right-corner.
- Choose Settings and press Choose what to clear.
- Select everything you want to clear and press Clear.
- Open Task Manager (Ctrl +Alt + Delete -> Task Manager).
- In Processes, right-click on a Microsoft Edge process.
- Select End task for all Microsoft Edge processes.
- Open C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge
- Delete the folders you find there
- Start -> Search.
- Search for Windows PowerShell.
- Right-click on the Windows PowerShell and choose Run as administrator.
- When Windows PowerShell opens, copy and paste

- Press Enter.
k) Delete YourHotTab.net from Safari
- Launch Safari.
- Safari → Preferences.
- Go to the Extensions tab, find all suspicious extensions and delete them. You can also temporarily disable them if you are unsure about which extension is causing you problems.
l) Delete Safari history and Cache
- Safari → Clear History. Choose from which time you want to delete the history and press Clear.
- Safari → Preferences.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Check Show Develop menu in menu bar.
- Develop → Empty Caches.
